Christmas Eve & Christmas Services

Christmas Eve - On Dec. 24th at 5:30pm our church will share in a time of worship, preaching, communion and candle lighting. We invite you to attend this intimate family oriented service.

Christmas Day - We will have our regular Sunday Celebration Service at 11:00am. No Sunday School.

Church Yard Sale

Clearview will be holding a Yard Sale on Saturday Nov. 5th from 8am-2pm.

All proceeds benefit our Heart to Honduras Missions Team.

This is a multi-family event that includes furniture, baby items and clothing.

We are located at 2101 South Davis Road in LaGrange, GA.

Clearview Families are asked to bring goods by for set up on Saturday Oct. 29th. (all items donated are tax deductable)

Living a Free Life: Finding Grace in the Book of Galatians

Short Term Missions Trip to Honduras

I am very excited to announce that our church is preparing for a missions trip to Honduras with the Heart to Honduras Ministry (hth.org). The trip will take place June 16th-June 23rd, 2012. We are currently accepting deposits from individuals interested in going.

Open yourself up to how God may want to stretch your faith. Come join us as we seek to partner with HTH as they: feed the hungry, clothe the naked, house the homeless, heal the hurting and give hope to the hopeless.

Disaster Relief

Thank you to all the volunteers who helped assemble 200 meals for Red Cross Disaster Relief. The meals went to help those affected by the tornadoes in Georgia (Troup & Meriwether Counties).

Our next work project will be going to Alabama and partnering with Samaritan’s Purse in the relief efforts there.

I am so proud to be a part of a faith family that puts "feet" to our belief.

“What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him? Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to him, "Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed," but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.” James 2:14-17

Children's Easter Egg Hunt

Everyone is invited to "hop" on over to Clearview for our Kid's Easter Egg Hunt. This event will take place on Saturday April 23rd at 11:00am. There will be games, fun, food, and prizes. We will have four separate age divisions for our hunts. Be sure to be on the look out for a special appearance by our very own Easter Bunny!

This event is free and open to the public. It is our way of giving back to this wonderful community. If you have any further questions please contact the church office.

Haiti Earthquake 2010: The Church Responds (one year update)

This video shows how our movement responded to the earthquake in Haiti over one year ago. As a part of Clearview, you helped to change lives. Mother Theresa is quoted as saying, "If you can't feed a hundred people, then feed just one." Our church didn't rescue the nation of Haiti, but we did make an impact for God's Kingdom.

Sunday School life groups are all about taking care of each other as we discover together how to live out God’s love. In fact, we grow closer together as we grow closer to God!

New Sermon Series

Love is the most important word in the English language - and the most confusing. Both secular and religious thinkers agree that love plays a central role in life. We are told that, "Love makes the world go round." Thousands of books, songs, magazines, and movies are peppered with the word. Numerous philosophical and theological systems have made a prominent place for love. And Jesus wanted love to be the distinguishing characteristic of His followers.

The above quote comes from the popular Gary Chapman book titled, The Five Love Languages. During the next six weeks we will be looking at these love languages and how Jesus spoke each one of them fluently. I hope you will commit to joining us for the next six weeks for "language school".
